There were two cheaper models
I charged it up fine, took it on a test run. The sound was awful, video was small, hard to aim.
When I turned it on at Carnegie the indicator (a green flashing light) implied it was recording right away (it should start in stand by (a steady blue light) then you press a button to record) but no way to tell. I've tried to see what it did record, but for some reason, my computer doesn't 'sense' it, even though a confirming sound tells me something is plugged in. So no way to see if I recorded or what it recorded.... Like I said...a waste of money as I suspected, but I figured to give it a try anyway

Mayfield jr poured such soul into it, sitting where I was, the emotion in the music was palpable.
For me, best song of the night. Thanks for posting. It was almost spiritual, that performance .... and touching, which made the switch to the celebratory "When the Saints Go Marching in" so clever, switching the tempo to jubilation to end the show as they paraded around the hall.
When I get Himm2's DVD with the audio recording, I'm planning to do a similar video that I did for Haley's GBTC. (will also add the vinyl 'crackle and pop')
Irvin made a very heartfelt speech at the beginning about his Father before the song, and I think the performance is worth the audio quality that was in the radio broadcast of Haley that have been posted. I agree, one of the best performances of the night.
Also, I remember really enjoying the Dee Dee Bridgewater's song...called something like "It's Here, where I want to be", I'd like to do that too...

I decided against the Vinyl crackles...hope you enjoy
Hope the audio sounds good...sounded a little off on my headset
Never could find a picture of Irvin Mayfield Sr
