On the promo clip I particularly like how the hook continues to very end. That beat will quickly sear into the minds of the viewers. Very splashy and nice.
This is tangential, but I recall the first time I saw Miami Vice in the 1980s. The music was so prominent, along with quick paced visuals, and such a departure from anything I had seen on TV before. It changed television.
