Yeah, when the fall tour didn't happen I came to the same conclusions as you midnight. She can't be making much money from the small venues she's been playing, even though she says that's the type of show she likes the most. Then she plays at Carnegie, and apparently has to pay to do one of the songs. She's having fun, but she needs to reach the next level soon. One song in a hit movie maybe? And, true, little money coming in, little going back out. Any idea what she netted from Stageit?

"Regarding 19/Interscope, I still have rose colored glasses on. Haley's songs are now widely featured on ABC, ESPN, and other media channels and I believe that they will release another single. Haley has said that there would "definitely" be another single and I think it will be "Undone" which has had hundreds of thousands of hits on various YouTube videos. If they release that somewhat soon, hopefully in November, and it becomes a hit, it could resurrect "Listen Up" and lead to a huge increase in sales. At the end of the day, Interscope/19 is a business. They believed in Haley's vision and allowed her to create a pop masterpiece in conjunction with many talented producers and musicians. And, they invested money! For them to just walk away from at least trying to release "Undone" does not make sense in a business way. If "Undone" hits big, then other singles could follow and push more sales. And who knows about what a Grammy nomination might bring? Anyway...I remain hopeful............."

I've been listening to "get yourself together now" 'you're so smooth" "Let yourself be beautiful" and "set your soul on fire" the last week or two. I initially wasn't so sure I liked them as well as the ones released on the album but they seem to get themselves into my head.

Of course almost anything Haley sings sounds great to me... helps to like the song too though.

I'm not sure where they came from or why I didn't listen to them before much. Maybe I felt bad for listening when I hadn't paid for them (but there wasn't a way to pay for them... but I figure my tips at stag-it eased my conscious a bit)
