@HaleyReinhart is, if anything, even better live than she is in her album or onscreen. WOW. I feel so lucky she came to Montreal.

Does Allen Stone do jazz songs? I've never heard any of his stuff
Quote:Haley's setlist tonight in Montreal @Haleyscoop
1. Wasted Tears
2. Hit the Ground Running
3. A classic rock song the name of which I cannot recall, but she was GLORIOUS and she gave me chills
4. Wonderland
5. Now that You're Here
6. Oh My (her version of the bridge is STUNNING)
7. Keep Coming Back
8. House of the Rising Sun.
Another new cover song?

I WAS THERE IT WAS AWESOME OH MY GOD MY BRAIN EXPLODED SHE'S AMAZING GAAAAAH.
*calms down*
Hem. Sorry about the whole yelling thing. You see, I just heard Haley Reinhart live AND IT WAS AWESOME. AND I HEARD HER SING HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN! WITH THE A-CAPELLA INTRO! AND OH MY! AND NOW THAT YOU'RE HERE! AND! AND! AND!
*deep breaths*
I have heard Haley Reinhart sing House of the Rising Sun live. My life is complete.
I'm going to write up a full recap at some point on my blog, but here are some key points:
I missed the first number (I think?) because I got lost on my way to the venue (oh, Montreal). But while I was there, she sang:
1. Wasted Tears
2. Hit the Ground Running
3. A classic rock song the name of which I cannot recall, but she was GLORIOUS and she gave me chills
4. Wonderland
5. Now that You're Here
6. Oh My (her version of the bridge is STUNNING)
7. Keep Coming Back
8. House of the Rising Sun.
Although I don't think there were a lot of Haliens in the group, the crowd LOVED her, and I think she may have converted a lot of them! The guy next to me was filming "House of the Rising Sun" on his camera phone, and I'm hoping it gets put online at some point, because it just - it never gets old.
She did NOT have CDs on her, which was disappointing - apparently there was some kind of screw-up. I obviously have the "Listen Up," but I'm pretty sure she could have sold a lot tonight, and made new fans permanent. But, as Haley said "Life is not all peaches and bliss and... that's not a real saying. Whatever."
She also reiterated the fact that Oh My would be her next single, and on the radio "soon, hopefully."
Also, her outfit was gorgeous.
Haley is one of those rare artists whose voice only gets more magnetic and pure and gorgeous and rich and perfect when you hear her live. The complexity of her voice is stunning. STUNNING. I could listen to her sing live all day. And despite the fact that I'd heard all the songs many, many times, they were still fresh and beautiful because of the way she interpreted them. She never lets her work get boring; it's always unexpected.
She's a real artist and I feel so freaking honored, and so freaking lucky, to have gotten to see her live.
Now I'm going to go calm down. DEEP BREATHS.
Oh, hey, you found my twitter posts!
