I was at the show in Portland last night.Sorry I don't have any video but the set list,from what I can remember was:

Haley seemed a little laid back,at least with her talking to the crowd or maybe there was a time constraint but she didn't spend a whole lot of time between tunes and it all seemd to be over too fast.The drummer from Allen Stone's band sat in with the two of them on percussion but he brought along a kind of low sounding bass kind of drum that didn't seem to add much but nevertheless Haley sounded great and the crowd loved her....

...After her set I went outside to get some air and when I walked back in Haley was standing not too far away and had just finished talking to someone so I went over and said hello-actually I think I shouted out-"Haley,then introduced myself and then told her how fantastic she sounded and that I loved her voice and her album.I hadn't really planned on trying to meet her but when I saw her there-it just kind of happenenned that way.I also told her I was a long term Halien -and she just laughed and said -alright!!.

I'm not really good at spontaneous conversation so the only thing that came to mind was-I asked her-so what's next for you and she said you mean gigs and all-and i said well,yes and she said there's not much happenning but that she's been in the studio working on stuff.Then I asked her about a possible next single and she kind of shrugged and said she didn't really know then said again that she's just been in the studio lately.

At that point part of me probably wanted to ask her about her future with Interscope/19 but decided it would start to sound like an interview and would be out of place.At any rate at that point my sister ran up to Haley and told her that she's watched Idol since the beginning and told Haley that she's the best ever on the show which prompted a "Oh My goodness-thank you from Haley.Then some other people gathered around and were trying to get pictures taken so I said goodbye to Haley and wished her the best.I can say that when you see Haley in person that she has a definite aura about her-she seems to glow-thats the best way I can describe it.

I really enjoyed Allen Stone's set He seems to be a contender for James Brown's old title of the hardest working man in show business.He really puts on a show and knows how to work the crowd.I also noticed that Haley watched his whole set standing up-moving and grooving to the music along with everyone else and I'd imagine she was probably making mental notes as well.At one point my sister remarked that just imagine if Haley had a band like that.I could only say-yes,I know.

College football Saturday on an unexpected day off in Boston w/ @chiarakramer and @haleyreinhart.

They were probably watching the USC/UCLA game on Fox. Big rivalry and I don't think Chiara would miss it.
