Seattle's Rock and Roll Sisters ascend to Musical Immortality have been voted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2013

Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart were also overjoyed to learn the news. "Some people have an idea of what the shape of rock & roll is supposed to look like," says Ann Wilson. "We're not really it. Personally, that's why I think it's taken quite a while . . . We're always traveling and out there doing it. It can start to feel like you're a tree falling in the forest, but nobody notices. So this kind of acknowledgement is really sweet."

Long time coming and well deserved....they didn't need the recognition, I'm pretty sure it was well known, their place as iconic females of Rock

Heart gave an amazing performance. I didn't know they were still touring and were still that good. I'm going to check their tour schedule.

Also it was nice to see Jenifer Hudson perform on the RR Hale of Fame show. She's a great singer and did a good job on the Donna Summer song but not as good as Donna.

I actually have been having this idea scratching in my head of going to see them and trying to hand one of them Haley's CD .

Love that Rush got in I just watched David Grohl induct them... freaking hilarious (R rated Language for the squeamish)


Speaking as a fan of ABBA and the Bee Gees who are in the RRHOF, I still have to give the WTF to Randy Newman getting in. Never got his music... uninspired and pedantic IMO
