Haley Reinhart & Family Holiday Stageit Show -- December 19, 2012

Wow, now I see how Haley knows how to harmonize so well. Some of those Harmonies were gorgeous (I'm looking at you Angie).

Haley has such a "classic" tone to her voice. Like she would fit in well with Judy Garland, Doris Day....and Ella. It's absolutely perfect for Holiday songs.

What was more amazing though, was the way she sang "All I want for Christmas." Good lord, she can transform her voice to sound JUST like Mariah's. No one can do that! Whitney's an amazing singer, but there are many artists that can copy her sound because she's got such a smooth pure voice and doesn't do much besides head voice and belting. If you've got the range and power, you can usually sing Whitney.

But it's borderline impossible to sing Mariah, because like Haley, she's just capable of doing so much with her voice. And the texture of her voice is so different. (Although, Haley wouldn't be able to sing all Mariah's songs, because she doesn't have that low of a voice....still, it was incredible.) And that was with her not listening to the song much....and just refreshing her mind with the lyrics.

Everytime I hear this girl, there's always a moment when I think "Oh wow...she's so talented." This time was more than once..

I also really enjoyed the show last night and just watched the encore loving it and appreciating it more. How can anyone watch it without a smile. It was truly a great family holiday show and they really made us Haliens feel right at home.

I can't wait to hear what's next for Haley in 2013! It's hard to be patient... Like we have a choice

Every one is waiting for what is in the future for Haley. It will be good. Just like we had to wait on her Album Nobody was disapointed.

I picked up on the same things you did.The 'classic" tone-you could call it "vintage"-it takes you back to those singers you mentioned.And then to switch gears and incorporate the Mariah sound.When I hear all these things I just hear more possibilities.

Next to the Christmas Tree where Patti was standing last night.
On my way to the Girl's Basketball game I stopped at the Reinhart's House to drop off some DVD gifts of last night's Stage-It Show. My timing was right because the Fab Four were home casually watching home movies from 5 years ago. I got a very warm welcome and nice hugs. I felt a little funny asking Haley to sign it and she wasn't aware that her "Rookie Card" existed.
I bought it unsigned on ebay from a sports card company for $9.95 that ebay shut down, likely for copyright issues, right after the card arrived in my mailbox. So their 1 of 100 issue might now be only 1 of 1.

12/21/12 and we are all still here.Thats means more of the Hales " silly myans" 2013 will be a profitable year for Haley.
