Wow!!! I didn´t know they could sign any of the kids for so long...it seems like a contract for a Baseball player...hopefully he´s got good terms in it. As for Haley´s, I am hoping for some artistic freedom...

Don't forget she is only 20 years old, she has a lot to learn about the music industry. It's all about how much money they get out of their artists. Haley is a smart young woman and she has her mom and dad to help her along the road. They taught her the rules of the stage, and now they will help her in her quest. I don't think Harry Reinhart is the kinda father who would let his daughter get raked over by interscope.
And she is artistic. SHE Has music in her soul, same with writers, painters etc. Haley will sing what she feels, right from the hart and soul, that's what makes her a true artist.

UPDATE: THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER CONFIRMS SIGNING

She may not have made it to the finals last season, but fans can expect more to come from Haley Reinhart.

The 20-year old singer has inked a deal with Interscope records, the same label to snag ninth place finisher Pia Toscano.

Though reports surfaced last week, The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Reinhart has joined the 19 Recordings family...

...An official announcment regarding Reinhart's deal is expected to be made public shortly.

Haley Reinhart,the bluesy ingenue who placed third on the past season of "American Idol," has inked a record deal with Interscope Records and 19 Recordings, a source from the label confirmed to Pop & Hiss on Monday.

...This deal makes a lot of sense: Adele is dominant right now, and in the wake of Amy Winehouse’s tragic death, people are all the more reminded that they enjoy female singers with a good bit of raspy soul. Haley Reinhart would fit right into that niche.
