Ya I realise it's an error how he phrased it, that he learned about the vid from Casey's Mom, but then again he's not a 'journalist', per se, and isn't required to give proper credit.
(I was just trying to point it out with a weak attempt at wit )

You have to admit, the way it reads, if you didn't know better someone could conclude Yanni=Mama Abrams

I was surprised that we didn't hear one of Casey's songs, not that I'm complaining, I was under the assumption, with all the week's shenanigans with Casey's video, it would be the culmination of the whole plot (and kinda thought the Blue Ape might make an appearance )

Then again, if Casey were to perform one of his songs, Haley would be left with maybe harmonies and a tambourine? This way, they are both performing

I think this was Haley's show and Casey was enlisted because he works cheap (free). So they did a couple of Haley's tunes and covers they both knew so he wouldn't have to spend much time preparing.

Still... would have really been the Cherry on Top to end the whole "Casey is Homeless" Chapter with a Caley performance with Jack Black and the Blue Ape in attendance to tie it up in a neat bow

(BTW.... Jack Black makes movies/music/albums too.... Maybe this will be the Caley route to the Big Screen. Casey's and Haley's music/personality has got that 'cheeky' in it that Black can appreciate.... )

These audio's are awesome, maybe Iconic, Yanni. I love the harmonies and scatting throughout this (especially on LOVE and HTRJ) and perhaps the best version of "All My Lovin'" they've done (where Casey remembers the words and it isn't cut off)...

Also, there is something about not having the video let's you hone in on the singing and playfullness between the two

Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart – HOB LA (VIDEOS

The not-really-homeless, Casey Abrams and his BFF Haley Reinhart performed together at the House of Blues in Los Angeles last night.

Listen to the Season 10 duo sing The Beatles’ “All My Loving” and the song that appeared on Casey’s self-titled debut alum, “Hit the Road Jack.”

Casey and Haley also performed the classic Ray Charles tune at Carnegie Hall back in October, where they performed with the New Orleans Jazz Ensemble.

These two really shine on the jazz numbers!
