I agree with 30CamdenSaure's response on Twitter.

I think it's cool that this guy likes Haley, but I don't think the "do you #SupportTheTroops " is necessary.

Plus, they're asking for a blind commitment. They haven't even stated the date. There's a Marine Corps Ball held in November. But there's an Navy-Marines Ball held in March. I didn't know about the latter until I did a search including "2013."

I didn't know there was a thread for this already, so I'm moving my post over here. What I don't like is the Do you #SupportTheTroops ? At the end. It changes it from being her purely her choice to kind of an implied obligation to her country.

Edit: I'll just add this real quick. I doubt this guy realized how it sounded when he wrote it, but he should be aware that's the way it comes off.

First off...that tweet was made by someone trying to help the Marine in question ( Steven_Presto‏@PRESTO_Magic_ ) catch Haleys attention. I think the "do you" part can be and was taken the wrong way (probably not how it was intended)

Also, I think that I read on one of his other tweets that it might be for March. He's getting a bit of a late start in my opinion, but hey, anything can happen. Personally, I think he has great taste and great aspirations. Plus he wasn't afraid to answer questions and gave good answers!
