Starting from Huntington Beach and working your way south, there is Newport Beach, Balboa Island, Costa Mesa, Dana point, Laguna Beach then once you get out of Orange County you start with San Diego County there you have Carlsbad, La hoya then you get into Scripps which is a Marine biology University campus. All of Orange County and San Diego County are for the wealthy. Newport Beach on the West Coast is kind of like Miami Beach is to the East Coast. I lived in Huntington Beach in the 70s Great place to surf. The Huninghton pier. From the 405 FWY. down Beach Blvd. lol Yanni5 knows all bout it. It's a Calli thing

I had half a mind to call Yanni up and see if he wanted to go have drinks after the show, but then again, the whole secrecy thing....
Also, I learned my lesson from Vegas, and scheduled an 'extra day' after the event in case there was some other opportunity might arise...no catching a flight mere hours after the show this time 
Gonna make the hour drive down to San Diego to spend some time with my Sis and her family today before I resume my mundane "non Haley related" life  LOL

You're right there, I have a good friend I've known since I was a kid, and his Uncle owned the bike/boogie board rental shop at the pier. Maybe still does.
