Miguel, can you get rid of the "Almost as good as Haley" part in the title.

I was just trying to use a bit of "bait" with the thread topic with a purposeful overstatement which feels increasingly stupid.

I don't like to compare "how good" artists are anyway even if it were true.

I did think a number of the contestants were darn good and, when i started the thread, I thought that people here might enjoy the show. I thought people might enjoy the contestants focus on musically interpreting songs, each in their own styles.

But -- the show is over and done and the dramatic overstatement I used for bait has no purpose whatsoever now.

FWIW, I still listen to Melanie Martinez's songs on my phone. Nicholas David, peaked around the time I posted and like Himm2 I don't really love guys in my ears. As good as his take on those classics are.. not really the songs I want to listen to either. I do still like Cassadee Popes covers and listen to them now and then too.
