I have been hearing David Foster & Haley Reinhart's names mentioned a lot in the same sentence lately. If Haley appeared in something with the scale of this David Foster event I would certainly be ecstatic!!!!:



and since it will be snowing like crazy tonight with howling winds if Patti Reinhart, Babbs & son and I drove 55 miles one way to see Casey Abrams, it makes much safer sense to stay home and watch Katharine McPhee in Smash tonight instead.

I’ve felt that David Foster might be a good producer to promote Haley. He has worked with a lot of artists and helped resurrect the careers of some. He likes working with young talent including Charice, Jackie Evancho, Katharine McPhee in connection with Andrea Bocelli starting in AI Season 5 as Himm stated and a few years ago with Renee Olstead who I felt was a young jazz prodigy at 14.

He is highly regarded in the music industry, won many awards and is known as the Hit Man. His Hit Man DVDs with the wide range of artists he has worked with are extraordinary.

Well, I am thinking Verve would be an interesting place for Haley to land.

For one thing, it has a huge pedigree and reputation in music history, with Ella Fitzgerald, Bill Evans, Wes Montgomery, Stan Getz and many other greats on their label.

They are more focused on jazz artists and jazz vocalists for sure, with artists like Diana Krall, Etta James, Jamie Cullum, Melody Gardot and others.

But they also have John Fogerty, Bruce Hornsby and Idol Katharine McPhee on their roster as well. So, I am sure if David Foster really wanted her, and vica versa, they could make it work out.
