RE: Haley going to Singapore
Chiara's pool pic was taken at Marriott Hotel. Less than 10 km from Marina Bay Sands.

It's actually 55 stories high. Apparently, it's 3 times Olympic pool length and is claimed to be the largest outdoor pool at that height. I'm guessing it's probably the largest indoor or outdoor pool at that height.
Wonder if Haly can win over the K-pop fan. Haley certainly combines musical and visual elements well but she definitely doesn't seem systematically trained.

Yikes is right, as beautiful a view as that is....I'd have a tough time swimming in that Sky High pool....can you imagine if there was a tremor ?
I wonder what the temperature difference at that height is?
Ha -- I thought Himm2 would be offering observations regarding the archectectural design, but, boy was I wrong. Instead, he wants to know where he can apply!
And, Tusk, it probably would would be scary to be in the pool if a tremor occurred. And as for the temperature, do you suppose they turn up the heat in the pool (which would then make getting out seem that much colder)?
