Well, I needed some new shoes...took me a little while to find them.

Shoes that allow me to tip toe quietly in the forum room...so I don't disturb the elephant in the room.

Buzz left because he felt he was being censored.

He made a mean-spirited post directed towards someone else. I removed it and sent him a private message explaining why:

Much of the content amounted to a personal attack and no good can come from that -- just a contentious back-and-forth with others choosing sides.

He gave this response via PM:

Hilarious...whatever...I guess HF.com needs censorship to protect what?

I replied with a longer response that began:

To preserve the peace. I don't need the headaches that come with moderating a contentious forum.

He apparently never saw that as he left on his own accord immediately after sending his PM. But upon his return today he gave a one-word response:

"whatever"

Oh, gee whiz, I wasn't trying to open a can of worms...as Buffalo Springfield once said so eloquently in their song, "nobody's right if everybody's wrong." Often I have to ask myself if I want to be right or happy and I have found happiness brings me much more satisfaction.

Miguel, you do an excellent job of trying to keeps things civil. Sometimes our attempts at being clever or smart or funny strike a nerve and we cannot understand why anyone would be offended. At the crux of the matter, not everyone hears the same story that is being read.

I was told these new shoes could walk on egg shells without breaking them...probably an over the top marketing claim.

Not interested in being a part of a forum war...Hey, it's Miguel's site, he can do 'whatever' he wants. Not participating in any spin...just enjoying the Haley banter with all of you.

I think I can laugh at my myself and hope to add a light hearted perspective that we are just fans...so, try and remain calm everyone...nothing to see here, please move along.
