I'm going to guess they performed that song because the other singer also sang "Call Me" during her competition too. They clearly had not practiced together and it was an opportunity for them both to do a song together.

Yes, but, here's the thing, Tusk: that they did't do some sort of run through prior to performance seems odd to me. (Supposedly, they're both professionals, right? Professionals, generally, want something like that.) And, again, the arrangement was just -- (I really don't like saying this) -- bad.

Well it may have been a bit impromptu, but Haley sang wonderfully and you could see her partner and the crowd loved every bit of it. I love hearing songs we seldom hear; I think this trip was a great success and a great boost to her world-wide following.

Love the clearer videos! The MJ song is great and I have to say I don't see the problem with Call Me. To me the arrangement was fine (other than that part when the other girl messes up), although Haley definitely had the better vocals. This entire Asian mini tour has me feeling warm and fuzzy inside. Excuse me now, I have to watch The Way You Make Me Feel again.

Yes, F8 thanks for the much better vids. "Call Me" didn't sound as hokey to me this time, but it definitely needs more than just guitar accompaniment.

However, one does what one can with what one has. It must have been nerve racking for Haley to keep going into these performances not knowing the level of experience of those accompanying her. (Not that she'd ever let it show, mind you.)

She hasn't lost the growl. The MJ cover was so effen good. I forgot bout the R&B chops she has. Good job Hales. She knows how to put power into her vocals but staying in her range, and not going flat or sharp.
