It's interesting -- Haley always says that things always work out for the best and look what's been happening for her since she was cut from InterScope. Granted, Chiara has much to do with this, undoubtedly, but still ....

Halien field trip to Hawaii!!!

I think I'll pass on this. As much as I loved Carnegie with Irvin, Dee Dee and NOJO (so much culture!) and a once in a lifetime opportunity (I had to go back and read my recap of the night ).... the experience is far greater when you can get Haley all to herself, and I'm not sure how much time she'll get and for the price it will cost? Travel and Hotel?.... (Which reminds me I still have to book for Chicago )

I noticed "BMI" is credited on the poster .... so cool to see Haley's post Interscope story continue with 'big' names and not have to settle for lesser companies or niche labels.... (Why no Haley at the BMI stage @ Lollapalooza this year :*( )

Not meant as criticism or shade on the smaller, more artistic companies, it's just the more "well known" entities have more resources and more exposure potential, which is what Haley and her talent deserve

(...then again, I'd never heard of Ole until Haley signed with them )

BTW, I'm not too sure Chiara had a hand in booking this. I think Chiara is more of the 'handler' part of management than the 'strategy' part. Again, I could be completely wrong

I've seen pics of Chiara with Candice, is she Candice's rep too? I wonder if that means transition for Haley to another or is Chiara going to continue with Haley as well?

Incidently, the fact that they didn't use a prepackaged set of bio/pictures says 19e is likely not directly involved. ETA: To wit: haleyrcentral, the web site they listed (which hasn't been updated since Nov 2012) is the first that shows up in a google search for haley. <- makes it a reasonable conclusion that someone did a quick surface search while busily assembling the staff page.

I've been to Lihue, drive from the airport to that end of the island is the most beautiful on the earth. Same place they filmed a lot of the dinosaur park movie. The mountain near there has the most rainfall of anywhere on the planet.

There is also a nude beach near that resort. Very laid back island, small population and beautiful beaches on that side. The other end near the airport is rocky and bad currents with no swimming signs. Haley will absolutely love this trip; hope she can stay over a few days with Chiara, I can't wait for the vines.

Kauai, my favorite of all the islands. I've stayed on the south end at Poipu, and it has some fabulous beaches, which very few people use. Also, the golf course that is owned by Hyatt is where they play the Grand Slam of Golf (the 4 winners of the majors compete)...spectacular.





There is also the Grand Canyon of Kauai, where the road climbs and ends.
