Chocolates are not a bad idea... I was thinking anything alcoholic would be generally inappropriate ... maybe chocolates, fruits and cookies in a basket

I should probably get some kind of confirmation when/where they were thinking about using it ..... I'm trying not to be OTT pestering about the particulars in my communication, as that can become tiresome, but it would suck to go and not hear it.

Mariners DJ is a thing they do where you can chose what they play from a song list, sometimes the songs are posted on the new HUGE HD scoreboard with info and trivia.

Not exactly what I hoped for, but then again, one step at a time. The name of the game is exposure
(I have my handy dandy New Windows smart phone (with short battery life ) so will try and record it when we're in the stadium)

I am thinking that if the Twins, Mariners and White Sox combined into one team, they could become the Twin Mariner Sox (matchy matchy sox)...and might even have a chance to contend. Rotating on three home field venues would mean I wouldn't have so damn many tickets to deal with for a lousy team...

Difference is the White Sox and Twins have been to and won a World Series.... The Mariners just get to see their players become stars after they leave
We define 'Baseball Futility"
Since 1977 only 4 playoff appearances, even their record breaking season in 2001 of 116 wins, they didn't even get to the WS

Since the Rangers just recently made it, the Mariners might be the only MLB team to never have made the WS.

(Even Randy Johnson will probably go into the HOF as a Diamondback )

^ you make a valid point at the ineptitude of the Mariners. Until the Twins won the 1987 WS we never had a winner in Minnesota...not counting the Minneapolis Lakers (forerunners of the LA Lakers) who won 5 NBA championships in the 40s and 50s. Still, we could really use Felix Hernandez here in Minnesota as we have no ace on this staff.

I did have a great time yesterday watching outdoor baseball in Minnesota. Enjoyed the sweep of the White Sox...which I will remind Haley was the only thing I found not perfect about her...she's a White Sox fan!
