I am LOVIN' My Cake! What a great jam with and easy, propulsive groove and catchy melody. And any song with Haley Scats is a total win-win situation, any way you look at it. Hopefully, I can hear the song live in a week.

I'm loving it. I 've liked the sound on this video best so far.

to tell you all a secret.. grace potter has supplanted Haley on my listening list lately .. .. in part due to not having been fed enough new Haley.. and in part due to where my head is at.... I've been craving a bit rougher rock/rural sound

This song is exactly in the grace potter mode that I've been really enjoying a lot recently. When I say that, I mean song on the albums that in sum have a different sound that the GP songs with the most radio play. I have all 4 of her albums now plus a live concert recording...

Thanks Swan, Haley and Casey were really feeling it tonight. Haley had a shorter set than Casey, or at least it seemed that way. I also got to meet and chat for a while with Casey's parents, they are really cool people. Haley never sounded better, and Casey was his usual goofy self. It was a great show.

Excellent job, Yanni. Really great. You captured the interplay between Haley and Casey. The song ends, but he keeps the band going. She begins to scat. She backs up and looks at him, as if to see if he wants to participate in a scatting duet. She realizes she's on her own. She begins freelancing. The keyboardist glances at the bassist with a grin on his face. Then Haley brings it back around to the song and Casey joins in to close it out.

Afterwards, the expression on her face as she looks at Casey is, "You devil, you threw something at me I didn't expect. Gosh, that was fun!"
