Again, thanks for all the welcomes. I was going to join right after jazz night at the W given that a couple my pictures, pictures of me and few of my tweets end up pn here fairly often, but unfortunately registration was closed. I was ecstatic and relieved to find that it was open this past Sunday night after reading this thread so I promptly joined.

It was great meeting a few of you on Saturday as well. It was one of my favorite concert experiences ever. Hopefully something similar happens again in the future. I love the "fab four" feel that Rachel, Steph, Francesca and I have when it comes to Haley's LA shows, but I also love when our group becomes bigger. It's a really good feeling.

) that didn't happen! My stepdaughter and her new hubby had a local reception in Breckenridge at their cabin last week, for all of the peeps who didn't go to Vieques in March. They wore their wedding clothes, and smashed so much cake on each other they were covered!! Luckily I got a huge cake, so plenty was left for the guests.

Tusk Yes, "I'll have my cake and eat it too" over and over in my head, the harmonies, it is sublime. I hope she does it in Vegas next week too...though there wouldn't be anyone to harmonize with. Huh

Maybe in Chi town too! Mamma and sister could help her out with those - a full band backing would be awesome.

This is a happy place to be here at HF headquarters with all the new members, and people meeting each other for the first time (really meeting each other) , and Haley being out and doing what she does best.

I'm looking forward to our big par tee in Chi town with Haley in 18 days!!!

Whatever you did.. whether it was your position or your equipment really picked up all the richness and feel of the Bass player and Keyboard and also the two voices without over powering them. I really got the elegance of their approach on your recording that initially(first hear somewhere else) sounded a bit mush. On that other one, I saw where the were going but didn't hear the crispness of their attack on the smooth notes that I can hear hear in yours!
