And so it ends. After all the anticipation, all the excitement and fun, all the great music and unique interactions with Haley herself, this edition of the Cosmo Adventures is over. Any sadness I may feel at its conclusion is more than counter-balanced by the lasting memories I have gained and my full awareness of how fortunate I was to be in a position to take part in this great event.

To all the fellow Haliens I was blessed with hanging out with this weekend, I want to send out a huge THANK YOU! Thank you all for your kindness, your good humor and most of all for making this adventure more than it ever would have been without you all there. Truly, being with everyone added elements to the Cosmo shows that cannot be calculated and can only be felt with a filled heart, a happy soul, and a brain brimming with the happiest of thoughts.

My eyes a burning a little bit right now as I am typing--my feelings about these past three days are that strong. Every single day had it own special treasures and I'm so happy that the capping moments closed the whole thing out on such a wonderful note. I was standing over by the side of the stage where Haley was doing her final meet and greet and my only intention was to be part of the moment and let others talk to her and have their pictures taken next to her. In another one of those "I'm not sure how it happened" moments suddenly Haley was directly in front of me. I really can't say whether she came up to me intentionally or not (I'd like to think she did), but anyway it gave me the perfect opportunity to say thank you to her for a wonderful show and to say how I hoped she will be back soon. Earlier in the evening Pat was kind enough to send and email to Chiara and include in it the little prose poem I posted the other day here on the site. I asked Haley if she had read it yet, and although she hadn't at least I knew she most likely would. I told her that the poem was about a particular moment in time that she wasn't aware of but would be familiar to her. I hope she likes it, although after Pat sent the email I began racking my brain, hoping I hadn't put anything too embarrassing in it (I had never anticipated Haley ever actually reading the thing).

After that, Haley thanked us all and gave Pat a hug. Since I was standing right there of course I couldn't miss this opportunity and got a Haley hug of my own. Then we all wished her well and she was on her way. It was a perfect ending to a perfect event. And now I'm tearing up again. :'P

Everything that has a beginning has an ending, when its the "Haley" experience, it's a sad ending. I just wanted to post of few of my reflections on Haley's Las Vegas gig. First of all I would like to thank all the Haliens in attendance, I'm not going to name you lest I leave anyone out. I met you all and your all special, I love the synergy I felt with you. Sooooo thank you all for making a newbee fit right in.

Next I would like to say a few things about my Haley experience. After I checked into the Cosmo I stopped at the Burger Bar to catch a bite before the show, not remembering that Haley is a burger girl. I didn't go all the way into the dinning area but plopped down in the lounge. Serendipitously Haley & Ciara walked around the corner & right in front of me, as they were leaving. As they walked by I simply said "Haley Reinhart," she took two more steps, turned around, came back and retorted "how are you." I said, "excited, I've been driving all day so I can see you tonight, I drove to Portland as well." Then she said, looking into my eye's, "Oh thank you so much;" really meaning it, "See you tonight." You already new Haliens but now you know some more.

I live in the Salt Lake City area and I would to paraphrase what the Salt Lake Tribune entertainment editor wrote when the Season 10 Idol Tour came to town. (This season's Idol Tour is surprisingly good, the talent is exceptional, diverse & they interact well with each other. That being said it was Haley Reinhart that stole the show, her voice, charisma & stage presence was unequaled. There was good reason she was given the pimp spot just before Scotty.) Stay with me I'm bringing this around.

My first live experience with Haley was Portland. All the bands were good, including Dia Frampton, who killed it with her band. Haley was next to last to take the stage and I was concerned, wondering if she could keep up; I even posted as much on her Vevo Chanel. You see, this was my first live Haley gig. No problem, Haley walked out on that stage, smiled, then did it again; with only John & Courtney, she stole the show.

See where this is going? Haley killed Vegas last weekend, even with all the talent there, she stole the show & I told her so. Once again that big smile and a "thank you so much." I'm not being flippant, you must hear her live to know what Irvin Mayfield new the minute she started to sing.

Saddest thing! It was a free gig. Maybe soon she will get what she is really entitled to. Que Sera Sera.

PS won $54.00 on American Idol slots, Haley brings luck as well.

Airhigh, I didn't know the Burger story. That is so cool! We really did have a great time, didn't we? How I would love to do it all again!

It was great to be with the Haley bunch, It was well worth going over budget to see her There are just some things that numbers cant measure UP TO. and that's the matters of the heart. Im ok with that.After all the opportunity may not come for a while to see her in Vegas. And I am still contemplating going to Chi town. That's a decision I have to make real soon----------------(thinking) When you see a chance, take it.

Thanks everyone in Vegas for the awesome footage and recounts. I'm so happy for all of you for the amazing music you got to hear and the special time you got to spend with haley. Wonderful!

Here's a question for everyone who attended the August Cosmopolitan gig. If you had to narrow it down to one experience, what would say was your absolute favorite Haley moment from this weekend?

This may sound strange, but for me it was actually that silver pen cap incident that I wrote the poem about. For me, this stands out because although it was a small moment it was so unique and was experienced by no one other than me. It was one of those things that stays with me and continues to remain a vivid and unique memory.

Two underage kids in a lounge (bar)? There a story behind this. I hope we will hear it.

Nothing unusual about this, it wasn't in the bar, it was outside the perimeter. There were a few young Haliens who asked about being able to see her in Vegas, on Twitter. I learned from last time that you can watch from outside the bar including from the balconies and staircases (although obstructed view due to the huge chandelier). The Chandelier bar is situated in the middle of the casino. It is permitted to look at the stage from the walkway. In all Casinos, children are allowed along the walkways, they just cannot be in the gambling areas.
As was the case last time, parents and children viewed the performance from around the outside of the bar.

In this case, I was finding angles to take pictures with my camera when I happened upon this family enjoying the show. I asked the mother if the kid was a fan? She said that they were, I told them I was there as a fan too and asked permission to photograph them with the cd. Then asked if it was ok to tweet it. They obliged, it was an irresistible moment that illustrated what music can mean to a family, as you can see by the smiles on their faces.
