RE: Haley at the Cosmopolitan August 15-17
LOL, me too.
I finally got iTunes to work on my computer, Apple and I have a 'hate/hate' relationship ever since I had to use the old Mac's because Photoshop and other graphics/publishing software like Illustrator and Quark, only worked on Apples back then.
Pat gifted me Keith's iTunes "Phelps Phriday", (Had problems redeeming and installing iTunes) and even though I know less about Urban music than I do Jazz, I actually think he did a really good job with it. I really do like some of the songs on it.
I listened in a bit when Keith was talking to some folks about his direction and he said he did a lot of research into his musical direction into the future and he felt, for now, this was the direction that suited him and his goals best. Follow your instincts is a good mantra, one that Haley has been keeping to as well....

@KEiTHPHELPS lol A little. If she could play a gig with you and Casey, that would probably be her best show.

@KEiTHPHELPS lol It would be a great one though. Jazz chops out of this world.

@intrepid_heroin he followed me on IG the other day...hopefully it goes down at some point
I'd be down with a Haley, Casey, Keith set...
Well, I now know what happens when one mentions a "dream trio" to Urban Sage. She puts it out in the "Twitterverse" and gets a response from one of the "dream trio" that he'd be on board. Cool! (I'm not saying that I'm the first or only person to think of this particular grouping, but I did mention it on the CityWalk thread, and Urban Sage agreed that it would be great. With the scatting and harmonization that Haley and Casey do, along with what a kick a$$ bass player Casey is, plus Keith's talents, the possibilities go well beyond 88 keys. Heck, I've already come up with an alliterative, albeit, corny name for them: the Caley/Keith Combo. )
