Ha yeah. I originally wasn't going to get front row but I when I searched for seating, I wasn't going to spend $112 to sit in the front row of the balcony.. But yeah it would be cool to meet up before the show.

Thx Penny but considering Curtis Mayfield died in December of 1999 I hope it's not him we're seeing or kissing Haley on the cheek. Haley does many genres but Jazz would likely come before black R&B Pusherman stuff:

Welcome Taithleach...I had to go with Captain Dinken's suggestion of the Loge for sight and sound, but can't blame you for buying the first row. However, I'm sure you didn't pay $112 for those seats...and you might want to think about raingear from all the brass players spraying.

$172.82 was a bit rich for my Jazz concert-going blood and I've had way too many recordings ruined by being too close or too low. Now if you were talking Haley introducing 10 brand new songs and performing 20 others with Midnight and Casey Abrams, my accountant would agree...go for it!

p.s. I'm sure Himm & Buzz wouldn't think twice about spending many hundreds to see The Chicago White Sox play the Minnesota Twins in the clinching game of the World Series, although not likely to ever happen in our lifetime.

My mom just found out about the concert and I explained my reasoning why I probably won't be going. But at least now she knows its happening so if I can somehow find out how many songs Haley will be singing (hopefully more that 3 like last time), I might be going! I've tried tweeting Haley and Irvin but no response with an anwser

If I was rich, I swear I'd just go from event to event. This one is a hard one to miss!! Jazz Haley is what hooked me.
