Buzz went to the Vikings vs Bears game today...(insert Vikings yell here, along with "Skol Vikings"). Yes, it was my first major outing since the Tick with a Kick to the Kidneys made it's appearance over 6 weeks ago. God bless my nephew who took me to the game. Nothing says love better than taking your uncle to a win over the Bears at home in the dome!

What's even better is seeing all the Bears fans that were sitting around us
suffer in their loss to a 2-8 team. Cue "Keep Coming Back" for more...

Well...the good news is I got 53.60 fantasy points out of my Bears wide receiver...Alshon Jeffery. Weird bunch of Field Goal Tries in overtime that's for sure! If you recall Buzzard...I was at Soldier Field the first time the Bears played the Vikes in game two. Bears won by one point.

Very nice on the fantasy points...hey, Jeffery's is the real deal. He almost single-handedly won the game for DaBears. Yes, I seem to recall about 3 games the Vikings lost in the last few seconds this year. The difference between then and now: Vikes are out of it and know it...the Bears think they still have a chance...Buzz thinks it is the year of the Lions in a mediocre NFC North division. The question is, is Haley a Bears fan?

Still alive here...although I did take another hit, with another 6 day hospitalization in early December. It has been a rough 2 months since the kidneys shut down, followed by a gallbladder removal this month.

There is a ray of hope...I am no longer on dialysis as my kidneys recovered enough to work on their own. However, I am on the kidney transplant referral program at the University of Minnesota and will start the process in January. Hopefully, 2014 will be a better year health wise for Buzz.

Wow! You have had a -- challenging last quarter of the year, in the health department. Glad you're off dialysis, but the transplant path has its own set of challenges to negotiate.

The only good news about your situation Buzzenator is that at next year's Halien Shindig, Yanni, & Swansteel & I might have a chance at beating you in a B-Ball game of HALEY Horse. Wrap up that DVD you won from that shootout and regift it to yourself for Christmas. I hope you never get Tick-ed-off again. We need your humor back.
