The first Halien Shindig was an amazing time, hanging out with Halien friends (And Haley and family) is always fun. I can't wait for Halien Shindig part 2, wherever it is. Maybe if my powerball ticket hits we can do it again real soon....

We can do this...here are some things to consider:

!. We are donating anyway, so why not pool as much as possible to get the biggest bang for the dollar...a 15k private concert w/Haley.
2. Chi-town probably makes the most sense because of the Reinhart connection, and who knows they may have friends/relatives that want to contribute also. If there is inclement weather, Haley being in town could work around a rain out on the weekend...go from Friday to Saturday, or Saturday to Sunday.
3. No need to think in terms of 500 or 1000/person, since we can break down the contributions to more manageable amounts.
4. Someone will have to finance the operation, waiting on the contributions of others...Buzz could be a candidate...assuming my kidneys hold out.
5. An all HF.com private concert would be amazing...and show the commitment we have to Haley's career.

Buzzie, Buzzie, you REALLY like Haley, don't you? Even if 50 people pay $250, that's only $12,500. Unless we get someone who is able to donate a big chunk of this, I don't know if you'll find enough people to donate. But I like your plan.

I think it also should be noted that people might bring 'significant others' which then increases the count and tally. Someone might pay for 'their part' but might bring a wife and/or child(ren).

BGDays provided the show, the Shindig was successful partly because it was very casual, nobody had 'to work'.

Like I said Shindig 1 got done, but this holds more challenges that the first one didn't have.

The enthusiasm is good though, no idea is bad when it comes to figuring how to contribute and still have fun

Ok...Listen Up...Buzz will donate $500. The rest of you Halien slackards will contribute the rest. I can send the 15k and collect from everyone else, as long as I'm not caught in Wonderland. Now That You're Here and reading this, the logistics of the private concert would seem to rest in Haley's camp since they are offering the concert in someone's backyard for a 15k donation. We'll be Walking On Heaven when it is in the backyard of a HF.com member>
