I'm thinking this is a side project, & there are bigger reveals coming this year, which don't involve Indiegogo.

I'm thinking this is an opportunity to collaborate on something exciting and dare I say 'bold'(?), a sort of 'batchelorette party' before she makes the move to new management and direction in earnest.

Yeah, I didn't mean to make it sound trivial. I think this could be something really cool that may get a lot of attention on youtube. Just trying to say I think something even bigger will follow after new management is announced.

You don't need to worry about us misunderstanding your posts Tusk. That's not what's happening. We are simply expressing our Outlook for Haley's future. I admire you going to bat for us vs. "No Wits" lunacy. I just don't wish to bother in a futile attempt to try to redirect her confused focus.

I seem to recall someone mentioning on IDF, when I was reading the thread linked here yesterday, that you should be confident your opinions are alright...something along those lines. State your case, per our constitutional right of free speech, and let it rest...or let it breathe a little.

IMO Haley needs to have a good business manager (maybe she has someone). Someone that can guide her in today's world of entertainment and hold her accountable for her contribution to her own success. Practical daily/weekly/monthly goals and how they can be achieved is needed...someone to help measure the progress. We all need that accountability.

As far as acceptable standards for fans...when a guy states he likes her "juicy thighs" on a forum...well, the word "creepy" comes to my mind. But hey, that's just me.

I agree Midnightblues I read all the comments on IDF & Haley Fans & it made me wonder; when does Haley's kick start project really belong to you, you, & I. Haley has an idea, she wants to create a professional music video to showcase her talents for her fan's, future fan's & the music industry as a whole, get it out there so to speak. The cost is a little prohibitive so he she asked her fans for a little help, not alot because she has alot of fans & "many hands make for light work." All her fans know, if she promises she will make it special.

So now its out there & the "would of, could of, should of's" mean nothing. The only thing mattering is, I'm I invested, is Haley my thang, is she my hobby, does she ingratiate my soul. People invest alot of time & money in hobbies; whether its boating, climbing, camping, whatever. If Haley is your/my hobby invest a little, she won't disappoint. I see alot of Haliens have, even Mr & Mrs Anonymous have recieved the word. Lets hope she hits her goal.

The "would of could of should of" discussion is relevant because it will affect whether people decide whether she is serious about this enough to give their money to her.... I think the discussion is very relevant.

This is not some big record company giving her a check. This is fans' hard earned money that they are contributing on faith hoping that they can help.

I've tried as much as I can to spark some activity from her just so I can go back and say, see? look at this..... But again... there's nothing to show anyone...

We follow everything she does, so sure, we 'hope' we are right about what we think about her. Those who are not as deeply entrenched, and only look for result, do not see it the same way...

I didn't want to say this, but people seem to think that's enough that we trust her that the money will be raised. If you've ever participated in any type of sizeable fund raising, you would know it takes a whole lot more than 'faith' to raise this kind of fund.

I hate having to talk around it, but there it is.... faith can only take you so far without reenforcing action... It's one thing to have faith in someone, but this is her career, we're talking about. Eventually, serious thought and action needs to come into play somewhere right?

I want Haley to succeed badly, I have demonstrated this time and again. But I cannot continue acting as everything will 'work itself out' .....

It's not enough to say, so what? "we believe her, that should be enough". Fund raising doesn't 'just happen' it's alot of work....

I still think, yes, Haley will have a uniquely successful career in whatever part of the music industry she enters. However, in respect to this project, if she seriously wants to succeed in raising funds, she HAS to help us help her

Edit: I'm not asking for anything huge... like I've said, song snippets, quick updates, reasons to contribute... she doesn't even need an instrument, she could just turn on the camera and sing........just the slightest of effort....

Im invested in her to but all the debating going on still makes you wonder. I think this video is legit , Haley wouldn't risk her career on a long shot, but still you wonder what the girl is up to

To be fair Tusk, I'm pretty sure she's enjoying herself in New Orleans right now. I wouldn't expect too much out of her.

But I do understand what you are saying, i just think Haley would benefit greatly from having someone help her out with this stuff. She's got a lot of skills and abilities, but marketing herself via social media isn't one of them.

As a fan, I trust Haley. I thought she should have gotten her record out earlier to capitalize on Idol's success..and even though she would have had more albums sold..we wouldn't have gotten Listen Up..and she probably wouldn't have been signed to Ole. I try to remember her instincts tend to be right, and even if it's slow..I trust her.

Tusk---I can feel how disappointed and frustrated this situation is making you. I have to admit, I did not really think the video was a good idea and she has gotten quite a bit of negative feedback about it across many forums. Sure her fans want her to succeed, but in some ways, this seems like a vanity project, and her fans IMHO want music, not a video for a song no one has ever heard. Having said that, I do not believe for a minute that this is a fraud, and I did contribute and am hopeful that she succeeds.

But, I also think it will be an uphill climb to get to $30K unless she gets one of those $15K concerts. I think the initial Halien excitement got her quickly up to $5K but now things have slowed significantly. My only thought is that she has a game plan for raising funds (Stage It, performances, something else) but as you noted, she does not appear to be involved too much right now. But maybe that will change...

Anyway...I am hopeful that there will be other news soon about Haley, not involving this video effort...

No need to wonder or over think the comment. I thought the IDF comment was relevant to what I have observed about your posts. It was a one time read of someone else's post on IDF, which I didn't realize was an ongoing hot button. Sorry about that...I think the point I'm making is there is no need to be so defensive about your position or opinions. I respect your opinions and super fan status...it's all good with me, I'm on team Haley too!

I thought about deleting the post since it feels like a sort of betrayal. it's so disheartening to try and raise funds but spend most of your time making excuses and promises, while the sounds of crickets come from Haley's camp.

I can't decide if it helped or hurt that I got it off my chest.

Hopefully you guys can understand that its meant to be more a wake up call more than an indictment.
