Enrique Lara is the drummer. He played with Casey, Taylor & another musician named Elliott during a lot of Casey's tour after the album was released. He may have met him through Elliott--at least that's what I thought. Although, I don't believe Elliott and Casey hang out anymore. I think that is how Casey met Taylor too. I'm not sure how he met the other two--but they have both played with Casey before. Wasn't Quinton at the Grove with Caley?

Kaypea, I agree -- it's a fun song, performed in a fun, and musically good manner. You (saxophone player) and I (ex-trumpeter) are going to be happy that he's surrounded himself with so many horns - and they are good/solid. (I'd love to hear your assessment of Jacob.)
Casey tends to make such good musical choices, in so many ways (what he does specifically, and who he selects to work with him), that it's hard to remember that he's as young as he is (a few months younger than Haley). Earlier I posed a question about how the other musicians (besides Taylor and Jacob) entered Casey's circle. I know you and I know how something like this could work, but I'm trying to keep the question open-ended.
And, while I'd agree with most of your post above about "toning down some of the rough edges from his Idol" days, I still heard him doing some things vocally (potential damage) that I hope he won't end up ruing as he (ahem) "matures." I suppose, if he doesn't overdo it, he'll be fine.
But if this vid is an indication of the rest of the evening, it had to have been a fun night with good music.

I thought that Taylor was someone Casey picked out when selecting "his band" (once his cd was ready for release). Taylor is hugely good, so I get why Casey would want "keep him." (Besides, Taylor seems to have a calming/stabilizing influence on Casey, and that's another truly good thing.)

I meant Casey may have met Taylor through Elliott. This is all from my not so great memory--from tweets and instagrams or I heard it somewhere:
Casey met with some musicians--I believe to audition them or he knew of them-- and one was named Elliott. Elliott played guitar/keyboards. Casey, Elliott and a tall drummer (who I think was also found at the initial meeting) went on tour the summer of the cd's release (2012).

Then, the tall drummer was gone and Enrique replaced him for some of the shows that summer. At some point--I think Taylor was added. I'm pretty sure Taylor, Elliott and Enrique all knew each other prior to touring with Casey. They are older and have been playing professionally longer. I may have seen a video of them playing a show. Casey may have met them when he moved to LA after the AI tour. Possibly he was at a gig they were doing. Or, he may have just met one or two of them at the initial audition/meeting.
Quinton is the one playing the trombone in the Blame it on Me vid and he also plays keyboards. He could play even more instruments--they all seem to be multi-instrumentalists. I don't know how they met. But, I've seen him in some videos with Casey for awhile now.
I think the first time I saw the musician on clarinet was the show at Rm 5 when Haley sang outside with the band afterwards. Actually, that was the Ginger Bread Band at that show too.
I think all of the musicians except Taylor live in Southern Cali.
I agree that these guys are all hugely talented musicians. I hope there is the financial means to tour with this band. It would be so great. I'm not sure if it's feasible or not.
So anyway, that's how I remember it.

Check out Jacob's 40+ second sustained note at around the 5:22 mark, holy crap!
