Does not having major label involvement during the recording process free you up?

Well, I enjoy the creative freedom — whether or not it makes for a better product, I think remains to be seen. Not all of the music that I like is going to be on top 40 radio. But I do know this record will have my stamp of approval, and if it gets some other peoples’ stamp of approval on the way that’s just bonus

Maybe this is the appropriate thread...

I had a thought, the last two live performances we've had, HotelCafe and Room5 have exhibited some amazingly bluesy leanings. I don't know about you, but it feels like a leaf has been turned, It feels like Listen Up and alot of the Idol 'feels' are drifting into the not too long ago past.

Of the last 15 live performances, Haley played One song from Listen Up!, Wasted Tears, none at all at their Room5 performances. (No HOTRS, Bennie, Oh Darlin')

We had two AMAZING new Beatles covers, except for SMYM & My Cake, she didn't repeat one song. We got a couple new Caley duets and potentially the next "Undone"

So I combined them into a 15 song playlist I call: The HotelCafe/Room5 Haleytacular Playlist
