What impresses me so much with this family is their love of music. Even though Haley's mom, Patti, has been playing in her band for years and years, she just loves to get up and sing. You can see the joy in her face. And she makes everyone around her love it too!

There was a young girl who got up and sang after the contest was over. She was 16 I think. I thought I heard she was a Reinhart cousin or something, but turns out she wasn't. She had a beautiful voice. Patti was coaching her and patting her on the back before she sang. I congratulated her afterwards.(I think Himm recorded her song) her mom said she wants her daughter to try out for AI. I thought, this is how these kids start out. But this girl had real talent. I was like, "Go For it!"

I just checked out the Oh Darlin video (how did I miss that?!). Ammmaazzinggg is right Babbs! What can I say except that she is definately in a league of her own. Hands down!

I wonder where Himm has been. We haven't heard one word from him since the night Haley performed at Rocky Vanders......

He filmed the whole night. Even got Haley with her judges comments on the karaoke performers! Not like him to disappear like this, but real life does come a calling sometimes.
