Why isn't Haley releasing any of her new music?

I secretly wish Haley would stop spending so much time jamming with friends and put some of her new music out there! If she has the capability to release her stuff independently, there is no time like the present! Nothing to lose, right?

It's hard to say. I'm sure if it were that easy to just put out a new album today it would be done already. I am sure she is trying to do it the way she wants to.
As of that Vine, I know that Haley & Casey just got back from Mexico yesterday night and went straight to their friend's house for a birthday dinner. Although it may seem like Haley has a lot of free time and is "jamming" with friends often, she still gets to have a life.
I know Haley is trying to put her second album out there the way it needs to be. Can't just release music with no promotion whatsoever at this point in her career.

... The Mexico pics were for a gig as were the NOLA pics. People see Haley 'out and about' in distant locations and automatically think she's 'just partying'
The Cruise was a gig too....
Even when she goes back to Chicago, there's undoubtedly an event of some sort that she is appearing at (unless it's a major holiday...even then..)
The girl makes it look easy and sometimes fun to make it work ...

I'm looking forward to watching this next phase of Haley's career unfold. Haley may have 4 or 5 major things lined up, but only told us about 1, which we know is the "Show Me Your Moves" video, so the next thing we'll probably be hearing from Haley is the new song, (once the perks are sent) & when the shoot for the video is going to be. Maybe she'll give us another bit of news in the meantime, but I'm not expecting it.

I just feel like there is no time to waste. It has certainly been long enough since Listen Up! came out, and while there are things that are lined up, such as the "Show Me Your Moves!" video, since Haley is having to take her career into her own hands, no time should be wasted in putting the new music out so her audience (and potential labels) can see what she has been up to and is capable of.
Ever since she premiered "My Cake" last August (nine months to this day, in fact), I took that as a signal that the Listen Up! era, if you will, was over and she was shifting gears. I expected that a digital download would be released in the coming weeks. And then I eventually realized that it was nowhere on the horizon. Which disappointed me because my iPod is the way that I usually consume music, so I couldn't get fully excited about the new songs. I wish she would give us a little something to tide us over, at least.
