RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project
He looks to be pretty young too... mid-late teens? Looks like Disney influenced, for sure. I could be wrong, but it also looks to be done by hand, airbrushed, not digital. The hair 'texture' has a definite 'airbrush line' quality. The stroke of the black outline looks irregular enough to indicate the illustration was done by hand, and I love his attention to detail, not only on the body art, but I love that he made some of her outfit transparent, like in the blue material hanging from her waist
I LOVED airbrushing, but there is so much detail involved in the planning of the work, masking/remasking, air brush/pump/flow issues, paint clogs etc....my tendency to be lazy/impatient made it difficult to try to get better at it... someday, I'd love to give it another shot, because airbrushing, if you're good at it, can produce some AMAZING pieces
Here's my attempt at airbrushing, some...20 yrs ago? My theme was to do an illustration about eating disorders..
I might've been overambitious to attempt so many textures... believe it or not those are supposed to be tangerine slices and not cheetos, though given the subject matter, cheetos would've definitely worked

There's also people (like me) who should get a signed CD and haven't heard a blip ... I've been in other indiegogo campaigns where there have been a follow-up emails asking for patience, letting people now where things stand etc (I actually know of at least one case where they even did a bit of a rough accounting outline about what things cost and where the money went - not necessary, but definitely a sign of taking it very seriously with the fans!) ... I think we donated for the sake of the project and not the sake of being acknowledged or anything, at least I did, the perks are just a little side extra for the fun of it, but the lack of communication when it does not cost much time at all is notable, a topic covered enough here already. Having said that: I believe in Haley and her project and her style, and so for me the bottomline is that it still is all cool. I am very excited to see the video and hear the song when it comes out.

RE: Haley Reinhart's funky a$$ reality project
There's no denying Haley could have done a better job of communicating and handling the perks portion of this project.
I think we were all impressed she completed and mailed the handwritten lyrics in such a timely manner. Getting the CDs out seemed like a very surmountable task in comparison.
The delay in sending autographed pictures is understandable if she wants to use new photos taken from the video shoot and tie them to the release date of the video. But she should explain that to her fans.
While I admire Haley for living life to the fullest offline and valuing real-life relationships, it would take only a small effort online to let her fans know she hasn't forgotten about the commitment she made to them.
She apparently only visits the Internet through her phone, so she relies on Instagram and Twitter apps. Lately, she has only been posting to Instragram, probably because she gets more of a response there (a thousand likes vs a dozen favorites on Twitter).
That means many of the people who contributed through Indiegogo, or follow her on FB, have no idea what is going on at all. They don't even know the video has been shot. That's really inexcusable.
