Lighting is everrything in the world of photography Im sure when you saw the vid of SMYM you saw lots of lighting and reflectors in the middle of the desert on a sunny day

As a matter of fact, that part of the crew had to work their a$$es off. I've said several times that the high winds were ever-present, you can also see it affected everything in the images that have been published. OTOH it contributed a 'dynamic' look to most of the images. The original "wind machine" (think Rhiannon ) , Mother Nature.

So there was a guy who was solely responsible just for that, the people manning the reflectors. They probably had the most physical of tasks outside of the acrobats, because they were constantly being barked at to get the right angle to reflect on Haley, fighting the winds the entire time, while baking in the desert sun. The crew was pretty impressive the amount they got done in the time they had

It is exuberant and mischievously funny. Dylan has a "what, me?" look, Mark "look, I'm in the picture, too!", Keith goes "I just can't believe this" and Casey playing games hiding behind his big bassy. And Haley just looks gorgeously like the star she is. A great picture serendipitously capturing a split second that was!

I was told that there were 'a bunch of celebrities' there that night, including DWTS folk as well as Danicka McKellar, Winnie Cooper from the Wonder Years. Apparently people were busy that they didn't notice them and there was doubt because Room 5 is a small place, they thought they should have seen them. I do know there was some kind of gathering, pre-show (where that pic of Casey and Haley with Keith were taken)

Well, I found proof, Winnie was there as well as "DJ" from Full House

Hung out with Candace Cameron Bure tonight at a musical performance featuring Mark Ballas. Was so much fun! Long live DWTS18.

^^What on earth happened that Keith is smacking his forehead? Did he play a wrong chord -- or is he just gobsmacked by what's going on behind him?

I, too, am glad Greg was there but curious about this pix. Greg, thank you for your wonderful photography!
