^ Love the banter, the call and response, and the way she softened it up at the end (although I thought she would crank it up one last time). Great to see Haley working the audience participation. I think she loves that, and seeing it happen is very cool.

Which is weird because minutes before, I posed a question to Rachel in a DM.... Are we an unusual fan base??

and just like that, I get an answer from a very very positive and talented person I met at a shoot, then later at a Haley show....

I mean, I figured that we do what "most" fan bases do... I don't know, Haley's the first person I'd ever been this invested to support before so I have no gauge....

But then I notice the way other people look/react to us. Haley's friends went out of their way to facilitate the meeting and interaction with Haley. I don't mean it was planned, a string of things happened that put us in the back of the house in what turned out to be ... I didn't keep track... 20 min...half an hour with Haley

a couple of Haley's friends were grinning observing Haley w/ us, just enjoying it...ephcto held up two phones (apps) to light the 'scene'... everything was pretty surreal

I'm not sure the story can be told yet, because I think it's still being written, so I don't think I want to talk about it, specifically, as to not affect things...

you're probably right, I'm probably too close to it to have an accurate perspective on it....

I dunno, I just thought it was weird that my question was answered almost immediately by a friend of Haley's, providing a specific, but unsolicited answer to it

It seems somewhat unusual for someone with Haley's modest overall level of exposure and popularity. It is probably unusual with respect to age, too, with many of her fans being older and from diverse backgrounds and locations. And, Tusk, you know you are a special case

As a Haley fan, albeit one who does not have the direct experience of seeing others at clubs or the other venues she has been playing, I find it interesting to watch Haley's affect on others. Did you hear the one about the girl that walked into bar in New Orleans, gets on stage and sings a song with a renowned trumpet player, and subsequently gets asked to sing with his orchestra at Carnegie Hall? Fairy tale stuff and we were able to watch it unfold.

Now she's working the L.A. scene. A guy like Ernesto comes in and is taken by her talent, her beauty, and her charm. He finds himself drawn to her, captivated, and saying to himself WTF? He attends her shows, hangs out with her and then sees others from various locations in the country bringing her gifts and good wishes, and admiring the hell out of her. He looks at the online reaction to the video he was associated with and then finds Haliens articulately defending her against trolls and extolling her talents and virtues. And he sees that all of this is part of energy that radiates from within her.

Not sure how she met David Block, but I think he is resonating with her positive aura, as well as her beauty and talent. Let's go the the lab and make music. Come perform with me (it appears that David enjoys collaborating with attractive, talented women).

Casey loves to perform with her and to be around her. And he wishes it were more. Jacob calls her the queen. Keith comes to the show and plays piano with her. BC Jean tweets out high praise and affection. And on it goes.
