I'm very excited for Haley! If this show pops and becomes popular, perhaps this may become a long term gig for her. And with her song writing, singing gigs etc, Haley is helping to really establish herself in LA for the long term!

And she's making some great connections! I was told from someone that when Vince Vaughn listened to Haley's voice for the part, (not sure if she auditioned or what) he was like, "HIRE THAT GIRL!"

Hopefully she meant "sometime", bummed if we have to wait a year to finally see the debut. But, as Haliens, patience is our middle name. That's a good point you brought up about Haley playing the character of Bill, and the show being a reflection of Bill Burr's childhood. Per your previous post, Bill stated "It captures all the characters of my childhood the way I remember it to be". Her character would be a very integral part if that's the case I would think.

I don't think it's uncommon to have a raspy female voice play a little boy.

It makes sense in terms maturity, and longevity. If you cast a young boy, you might have a hard time getting them to sit in a room and concentrate on their lines. And if the show has legs, their voice might change over time.

Whether this show has legs might depend on Bill Burr. In that CICGC video that lauraliz posted, he made it sound like he didn't like being committed to long-term projects.

Were you told by "the little Birdie"? When I asked the little Birdie back in October why Haley wasn't just staying at home for a couple days between long flights back from Ireland to Chicago and a flight with mom from Chicago to Toronto a few days later she said: "They need her voice back in LA and as it was they granted her character a leave from the recording studio so that she could go see her sister abroad. (no I didn't just call her sister a broad) Babbsie, I'll be joining you and Penny tonite. Too bad you two aren't Wheeling voters. I need some signatures for my wife's re-election to the Wheeling Park Board but I'm sure Harry & Patti will be happy to autograph it for her, especially since her influence might help Haley & Midnight get a BG Days-type gig at the springtime opening of the Heritage Park Bandshell-Amphitheatre (along with "the commish's" help).

I think this is a super exciting gig for Haley. Not only a great way to earn some $$$, but think of all the connections she can make as well.

Bill Burr is hilarious. I believe he was in this "season" or the last of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Just looked--this past season.
Anyway, I never miss this web show. I wait for it on Thursdays

Funny-I had just watched that.I love CICGC-just two comedians talking shop.Bill is hilarious- and if you watch this you can see that he's
got a pretty "loose" outlook on the entertainment biz.Netflix looks like a perfect fit for him.
