Hello I've been a very long time lurker and just recently joined the site. Thank you all for keeping the discussion going about this someday huge star. It has been like reading a novel, waiting for the next big plot twist and wondering how it will all turn out.

To be sure, I've had more than my fair share of extra 'drama' during this

I've never been a fan of 'Free', it never felt like she was in her element. BUT, this version is great, it feels more like a Haley song. Thanks for posting this gem.

I'm the opposite, I'm a fan of "Free", I still remember the rush hearing the first notes, the hammering on the keyboard, Haley's long awaited debut single

I actually kind of flip flopped on whether to post this or not, even though I love it, I know, "Free" isn't on the tops of many, if not most #Haliens' list of Haley songs, and to have it given a 'jazzy' treatment, something that's not generally popular on my Youtube channel (see NOLA and Vegas), it is a genre Haley is ridiculously and effortlessly, adept at.

Another favorite performance from this set I wish I could post but, unlike "Undone" I'm not sure I can find a way to cover up the slight technical difficulty that interrupted what was otherwise a great performance of "Let's Run Away"

Thanks for posting this "Free" video Tusk. Jazzy Free is one of my favorites of Haley! This is so beautiful!!!

I have always loved this slow version of Free since hearing it when Haley sung it in Okinawa in April 2013. The video posted was a partial version of the song. I watched this video for days after it was posted. Brought tears to my eyes every time. (don't tell anyone )

I think the slowed down 'jazzyfied' version of "Free" debuted in the first show of three in Vegas (Also w/ Keith on the keyboards ) in 2012

When I first heard Free slowed down, I think I didn't like it at first, and didn't pay attention to it when Haley sung it in Vegas. (there were so many songs posted from Vegas) So your right about her singing it prior to Okinawa. But something hit me when I saw the video from Okinawa and I was like "Holy Sh**"!! And Ive loved it ever since.

PS Maybe the smoke blowing in the background, and the colored lights added to the effects for me. but also the emotion in this song gets me every time.


Now I have a new version to listen to.

Yes, I remember someone asking about the camera the guy was using in Okinawa too. The discussion was in the comment section of "Keep Coming Back"

she had some very good musicians with her in Okinawa. Had forgotten about the guitar player (Noto?). The Cities97 version of the song is still the best.
