I was just teasing, Tusk! Of course you want to go - be our Team HaleyFans designated envoy when Haley hits Europe - ... but naturally one can't just quickly hop onto a trip over on semi-short notice: costs, time, work, contacts, organisation ... My advice: relax about it, consider it, see what you feel, nothing will dry up quickly (except perhaps the tickets available, but even that I doubt a bit) ... do it when your heart really really really wants it - and if it is possible to fit in! The bottomline should always be that yes, we live in reality, and should remain squarely rooted in it. But then, ah, the adventure comes on top. As I mentioned to you in private, you're welcome to stay here at my place should Berlin be on the schedule anytime. Maybe ask Haley if she needs someone to carry her bags ...

They should be a fun band of musicians to be on a road trip with.
Btw, Luxembourg is a cool place, too.

Thx for the offer, but UK seems to be my cheapest/best option (plus I speak the language fluently )

I actually considered other destinations, but London is the cheapest using my miles, Paris was an option, but it would take more air miles than I have. If I use them for London, I'd still have 11K airmiles(14k more is another 'free' trip )

But you can't beat $49/night for Hotel stay ( this number can't be right for a decent hotel, too good to be true)... that way I don't have to wait to confirm lodging w/ relatives... it's basically contingent on work at this moment

I actually got a heads up Haley would be joining the tour a few weeks ago (why I contacted XAtlantic), I was told the possible range of dates that she'd try to make a "couple" shows. I figured (*hoping?) Paris and London were most likely, but couldn't pull the trigger until I got firm confirmation. Had I known it'd be 13 shows, I definitely would've booked earlier

Oooh, seats in London! Balcony! In Berlin it is standing room only (not uncommon, and better for moving when you get into the groove).

I'm actually shooting for better seats, but you have to contact the venue to see pricing and availability. I shot them an email because I don't think my phone can make overseas calls. That's why I wanted to get at least the 'regular' seats 1st in case the better ones are too pricey or don't pan out.

Hopefully, they'll be cool about it and let me 'ugrade' the tickets I purchased to the ones I want to get

I'm really happy that Haley is able to go and tour for a couple weeks with PMJ. It's exactly the kind of thing I've hoped she would do. And it's nice that she will get a chance to perform and hang out with some talented people that are new to her. I also like that there are a number of other female singers in the group.

Can't believe that Haley is playing Hamburg, the city I was born in and grew up in. I will have to call some of my old pals to tell them about their luck.
I am not sure if there is a museum, but I hope Haley gets a chance to visit the old "Star Club" on the Reeperbahn. The Beatles played in that club for a couple years before they made it.

I'm very happy for Haley! She will have a blast with her pal Casey and PMJ as they whirl their way through parts of Europe! And I'm glad fans of hers from over seas will get a chance to see her live. That is the best part.

I hope everything works out for you XAtlantic. Can't imagine Haley finally coming to Berlin, and you couldn't make it.

Looking at that schedule, I wonder if they'll even have time to do any sight seeing? I was hoping for a Caley photo in front of a Landmark like the Eiffel Tower, but how much of the time will be traveling?

I'd think the most efficient mode of travel would be the European rail system, although my experience last time I was over there, there's apparently always a chance of a labor/union strike . I just missed one taking the "chunnel", rail beneath the North Sea connecting England to France.
