April 22, 2015 - Room 5 - Haley, Casey, Dylan

I know, it was misrepresenting the vids . They aren't as clear and bright as yours, but if you watch them in HD 1080P, the video actually turned out pretty good, if a little dark...

I might not have enough pics to use for all my Room 5 vids, the ones that I don't have pics for, I'll have to replace somehow, because, you're right, those red thumbnails are horrible

I have a couple more vids to make, Never Knew What Love Can Do and Dry Spell, which I'll post when I have some time.

Also, I have to figure out a way to get an answer from Casey what the name of the song was that he opened up his set with. I tried typing in the lyrics in google but nothing came up.... maybe I have to look through any recent Casey vids in case he's performed it before... otherwise, it could be a new song and we didn't even know it

Haha yes please post Dry Spell..did you happen to catch Casey throwing his jacket at us at the end?! He almost knocked my camera over!! LMAO

Ever since the camera automatically cut off when I recorded "Spiderweb" at Lollapalooza, I've gotten into the habit of stopping recording shortly after the end of the song (I usually wait until Haley says 'thank you' to stop recording), then restarting the recording... it's also an easy way of locating the songs afterwards....

That being said, yes, I did get the part at the end where he wrenches his jacket off, tosses it in your direction, points at you then at himself, grimaces then..."KEEP IT! I don't like suits anyway.... I like being FREEeee"

One of the things I love about watching these videos is the joy Casey seems to experience when Haley is killing it vocally. He's a great best friend for Haley. Thanks again for posting these, Rachel and Tusk.

I love that we have something to view together, enjoy and talk about, so it's all good

Can I just say, this performance of "Stuck in London" might be one of my favorites of this song because the #CaleyEffect is in full force... I cannot stop smiling how great they are together on stage.... and that's ON TOP of their ridiculous abundance of musical talent

I had to cut out a few seconds before this video to try and keep the vid about the song, but there's just a bit more #CaleyBanter at the piano, then Casey decides to play the bass, walks over to it, Haley tries to give him his mic, Casey thinks it's her mic and wonders why she'd give him hers... then realises that it's his because he sees Haley's mic behind her... since Casey didn't take his mic, Haley goes ahead and puts the mic on the stand for Casey... leading to what she says at the beginning of the vid "Sometimes, Casey... I worry about him folks..." LOL

Hahaha that was hilarious. Please keep that part in the video, I'd like to see it It was actually a hassle for me at the end of the night to make sure he got his jacket back, I guess he really didn't care about it!!

Definitely I would keep it.... I sometimes edit the before or after bits because it makes the video overly long if I didn't, when it should be about the song. But it happened right after he finished the song so it stayed on my vid

Wooo! Yeah they sometimes talk a lot and CLEARLY had a problem getting tuned or being in the right key that night, LMAO it's entertaining to watch though. Also just shows how much actually goes into music and being a performer, stuff you don't really think about going into factor.

I edited out a lot of that stuff too. Although apart of me wants to upload the minute long John Mayer impression just because it was hilarious.

That was pretty funny, Anders has as good a sense of humour as Caley Haley's reaction to the impression is funny too

BTW Anders has requested that pic of he and Caley that Greg took "It's beautiful".... I just told him Greg has a better pic where you can see his face better, the pic I used for the thumbnail on my Lover Girl video

Watching "Stuck in London" and "All About That Bass" it 'appears' as if they didn't plan their ad libs... Anders at least didn't appear to have overly rehearsed w/ Caley...yet, their timing and changes are all inline during the performance ....

As an example, when Caley start mimicking that 'bacwards audio' sound in Stuck in London, they are in complete sync with each other during it, even they mimic the 'fast rewind' at the end of it... how do they react so quickly to each other and do basically the same thing, on the spot?

They do a lot of improv, but the backward singing seemed rehearsed to me. Regardless of if it was improv or rehearsed however, it was still hilarious to watch!
