RE: Haley Reinhart singing the national anthem on 5-2-15, NBA, Clippers Vs Spurs, game 7
Thanks immensely InItToWinIt. Haley was amazing. She has incredible power and register and made an extremely difficult song to sing seem easy. Haley sang the song the way I appreciate it, simple and pure without a lot of embellishments which for me detract from the importance of the song. Haley just knows how to interpret and convey lyrics that offer the most impact. As mercfan said, I hope Haley is invited to sing where a national audience will see and hear her.

Koffeehouse Music placed Jordin Sparks to sing the anthem at the Clippers first home game this year. She goes loud and hard at "there," emphasizing it and stretching it out.
When I listened closely to Haley's quieter "there" to compare the two, I found some of the crowd at that spot already buzzing in appreciation.
