There is such an exuberance of anticipation in Haley land about the new album. We all are excited about new music, a fresh start, possible Haley tour, new fans, a charting song, radio time, grammy, we want it all for our lady. Many have made lists of her songs they would like to see on the album & the order in which they prefer them. Personally I love everything Haley does, I just enjoy. Wherever her journey takes her I'm (down) as Casey would say. Some like her jazzy side, others the rocker, some the indie experiment & a few even loved the house music "Hypnotic." I think Haley is one of the few artists out there that has the talent to grammy in almost every genre over the expanse of her career. Taylor Swift has done it with country and pop. Haley has more arrows in her quiver than Taylor & is just as capable as a writer. The sky the limit for Haley, that's why I think this little pony should be free ranged & not corralled in anyway; so to speak.

Haley has the WOW factor in every thing she does, so I've been musing about what make a hit record because a hit record has to have more than just the WOW it needs the IT as well, for lack of a better term. I'm thinking about "Habit" & "Creep" they are both so well done, Haley's vocals & presentation is amazing, mesmerizing, even, I just love them. They both come the same distribution source PMJ. They both are songs about souls that have imbibed in the seamier side of life, they both have that WOW factor but "Creep" has that elusive IT as well, so it seems. So what is it? Haley needs a "Creep" like song on her new album. I hope it's there. Hmm is the only one who has listened to all of her songs. "Love Is Worth Fighting For" seems like it would have appeal to all age groups & both sexes but I just don't know. I hope the Haley Team does, they seem to be excited, so maybe that "Creep" is there. Here's hoping cause we all sure want it for her this time around.

Very well expressed, airhigh! Haley must have the most musically diverse hard core fan's out there. If the EP does have the elusive IT song, I believe her profile will explode. Many really talented artists, however, take many years to find the IT song and this may also be her destiny. Regardless, having new ORIGiNAL songs to look foward to is great for the growing number of Haliens.

I am still wondering if any of the EP songs will get any real radio play or if the main goal for the EP is to get signed by a label and release an album.
