Himm I totally agree with you - Jax had the WORST elimination ever, leading to a horrific sausage fest of a finale with 2 "OK" singers (typical WGWG good looking but sub par talent). I was thinking the same thing - Haleys sing out was the most amazing ever. Literally at the end, Ryan had to fight to bring the attention back over to Scotty and Lauren, everyone including the camera guys were totally wrapped up with Haley.

I promptly switched off the TV and read a good book after that lame elimination. She was the last of many potentially entertaining contestants to go and I had no desire to sit through another hour of vanilla.

Last night after her performance, she apologized. The way she worded it, made it sound as if that was her choice. That didn't seem right, or was it a choice she and the other 2 made, to do it back stage in the dark?

We will likely never "know," but when I saw the video of her elimination yesterday morning, I wondered if she hadn't figured it out. She looked awfully grim while Ryan went through the preliminaries before making the announcement. And after watching Tyanna struggle through her swan song, perhaps Jax wanted none of that.

My guess is she just worded it that way to avoid criticizing Idol.
