The difference between this video and the yacht video is night and day: the arrangement, the musicians, Haley's voice, Haley's stage presence; she is truly something now--and that's saying a lot considering how special she already was!

I was just thinking about Adam Lambert and how polished he seemed on Idol. It then occurred to me he had worked professionally in various productions before Idol. When he appeared on Idol, he was three years older than Haley is now. Her experience is starting to show.

An interesting comparison, Miguel. I've recently watched a couple of interviews that Adam's given, and in both, although for different reasons, he's very candid about being nervous or initimidated. For example, he was nervous about being on Glee, once shooting began. As he explained, he hadn't auditioned for Glee, and he didn't really know about the process of acting for film, as opposed to stage. The other situation was before the first set of six concerts when he began fronting for Queen. He said the crowd size was 'intimidating" and (LOL) that he'd only had 10 days to work with the group before the tour began. (For musicians, 10 days is an eternity/luxury -- but Adam comes from musical theater, so I guess 10 days isn't enough) Frankly I can understand the nerves prior to fronting Queen. Not only is the audience huge, but there are a lot of really rabid Freddy fans out there and the slightest vocal miscue would have been jumped on! However, I'm beginning to suspect that Adam is a perfectionist.

I wonder if Haley ever gets nervous? While her performance skills have improved, she's never really shown obvious signs of nervousness -- at least, not to my knowledge.

The early numbers on Creep:

I think this video has been up just over nine hours and it already has 76K views and 7,500+ likes.

It seems the view count always lags -- a little or a lot. But the current numbers are similar to those on Creep, although Creep was a bit faster out of the gate (view count at hour 9 vs. hour 12).
