How's this for a Deja Vu coincidence? While doing a pre-show Idol Season 10 Tour Meet & Greet near the entrance to the Bradley Center in Milwaukee I had this photo taken of Lauren Alaina & I on August 4th 2011:

The building directly behind Lauren's head is Turner Hall...where i will be seeing Postmodern Jukebox on Wednesday Night with Haley Reinhart's 8th grade teacher "the Commish"! I didn't get to see Haley Reinhart at the Idol Meet & Greet then & I won't see Haley Reinhart at the PMJ Meet & Greet Wednesday.
That olive green Sox hat that I'm wearing in the photo was autographed by Haley at Lollapalooza a year later, Autographed by Harry Reinhart a month after that, and by Idol season 6 top 6 Gina Glocksen a year after that, and Casey Abrams a year after that.

Casey and Jacob have known each other for several years. Somewhere, I think in the "Casey thread," it's been stated that Casey interrupted (aka "barged in on it" is my interpretation) Jacob's audition at/to Idylwild. So these two have known each other since their high school days.

They both definitely look like kindred spirits -both well versed in a variety of styles and they're both serious musicians who also can't help wanting to put on a great show at the same time.Its great to see.

Jon Myers I didn't know you were going to be with the troop in Cleveland, if I had known I would have bought tickets for Cleveland instead of Columbus. We have followed you since we saw you sing House of the Rising sun on Am-Idol. She must have had a connection at Ohare before continuing to Columbus. So the Ladies I'll see in Milwaukee will be Ariana, Maiya & Robyn. (& Sarah) OK...I can live with that. Guess I'm in for some new songs or some same songs sung by other performers.

I promised my other Idol friend Gina Glocksen (Ruzicka) that i'd try and get video of Von Smith's performances on the PMJ stage as he has been Gina's duet partner a number of times.

I stumbled upon this 50 minute long Youtube interview + 2 songs with Ariana Savalas and found it very interesting about her thoughts and her family and her life and her music.

Leading up to the Nashville PMJ show I couldn't really relate to what Ariana was all about, and I used the word "Gothic" (not in a very positive way) when Harry asked me what I thought about her.
By the time the Chicago PMJ show came around I was ready to record everything Ariana was involved in and I have a very strong appreciation of her now... and not just because she choose Buzz & I to pretend flirt with.
