Hmm, seems like people are taking their time to absorb this song before commenting. Not a lot of immediate hoots and hollars around here as we have seen before.

Currently the song has 5924 Likes and 136 Dislikes. The early LD ratio of 43.5 is lower than other Haley PMJ videos early on.

Lots of the usual praise in comments. Quite a few negative comments about her pronunciation.

From when the first notes and words were heard I was hooked. Well done PMJ, that is how you cover a song - take it down to it's foundations and rebuild it. I could Swing dance and Lindy Hop to this and so many of your songs. Good job again.

I LOVE me some Haley (fan since the start!), but even I have to admit the enunciation (especially on this first two verses) was rather sloppy. I get what they were trying to do with the style of the song, but when you're leaving off half a word, that's a bit much...

fantastic as always PMJ and Haley, but i WISH the song choice was better and more serious. & also i don't know why but Haley's never had enunciation problems until she started PMJ

She has a very nice voice but I could not get past the lack of enunciation. I feel like I shouldn't need a translation when the song is in English.

I happen to adore the way Haley pronunceates in this song, also in "Habits." It's certainly a vintage feel and it's so addicting. Jazz is definitely her strong suit and the amount of growl and rasp she adds to the song is perfect. Amazing Amazing Amazing!!

Haley absolutely awesome, love her voice, her looks, etc, but cmon guys, give her some real clothes. Even Marilyn Monroe wore more modest clothes. She's not a piece of meat to be showed off and bought

Hailey is really starting to grow on me. Morgan James is my favorite but Hailey is really incredible. Beauty aside, I think she's really putting more soul into her work now.

I don't understand those who don't enjoy her vocals and the performance she gives. I like that it's not just straight singing with no attitude and personality--the variations she adds on the singing and the performance give it a unique style, compared to the usual cookie cutter singers who can't stray a bit off the beaten path. And not everything vintage was done by the standard pretty and demure white girl. I truly love her bold style! ^_^

I love her voice, and, I want to like this, I really do, but she crams too much into one song. To make this point, I would quote Jack Lemon about his early acting career, when he said, "The pivotal point in my acting was when a director yelled at me - YOU, I want LESS from you. LESS acting, GIVE ME LESS". Less runs, less keys. sustain mostly a narrow range and give a whiff, a small taste, like a tease in a couple of places.

I love all the covers; they are amazing! But this woman's voice is so electric. Every time I hear her voice in conjunction with PMJ I have to stop what I'm doing to watch and listen.

+ I agree. It's unfortunate, because she is actually a very talented singer, but the sort of baby-talk singing that she chooses to implore in some of these videos is a bit off-putting. There were parts of her performance that I absolutely loved, but they were interspersed with the weird pouty-stuff.

I love this cover.... such a creative, compelling and fun interpretation (and I'm not a big fan of Britney or pop). She sounds and looks great as usual.

If enunciation mattered one bit, my playlist would probably be cut by 80%.

I know my jazz purist friend will hate it- but she hates all affectation in singing. I know my ONE (online) friend who dislikes Haley in particular will probably really hate it, the sexy, pouty side of Haley is her turnoff. I really don't care, LOL!! I love her enough for the three of us. Her special voice and phrasing that she used to perfect effect in this song have me swooning!

Among the many aspects of Haley’s voice that draws me in so tight is the way she phrases and delivers the notes, the way she shortens and lengthens and slurs and slides the lyrical content. And Haley’s ideas for interpreting a song are like no other artist to me and Oops…I Did It Again is no different. I feel if Haley sang the words pristine and extended each syllable, dotted every i and crossed every t, her type of jazz flow that I love so much would be disrupted and not be in the same amazing zone or pocket. In this regard I would rather hear Haley enunciate less than more. Besides Haley’s level of enunciation changes depending upon the style or mood she wants to convey.

Maybe I am getting old or am there already but I find I don’t fully understand the lyrics of any artists I listen to and I need to look them up.

It's really sad to see what the top comment is...

I have a notion much of the negativity directed Haley's way in her PMJ projects are from long time PMJ fans who came to PMJ from their earlier singers, more specifically, Robyn's fans. I think it's obvious to many that Haley brings eyes and ears to Scott's projects, which has fans of other PMJ singers worried they may never see/hear Robyn (or others like Cristina Gatti) again in a PMJ project. So they lash out at the "threat", Haley.

All they have to do is follow Scott on Twitter and/or Instagram, to see that Scott has a video featuring Robyn coming up, or else I wouldn't see the "where's Robyn?" comments that seem to pop up alot

(Never mind that Scott is no longer East Coast, where Robyn, Cristina are)
