They're making faces for the camera. No different than "smiling while laughing." ...edit: I suppose there might be a video camera there distorting their faces even more.

Miguel guessed maybe Haley was w/ Dylan as possibly indicating Dylan might perform w/ Haley at the Troubadour. I wondered if the pic might have been from a past meeting by his post "Missed this one"

The Jack Black pic shows Haley w/ the same top she wore in the Dylan pic, which indicated that the pic w/ Dylan likely was taken today.

I think Miguel's last post was meant to joke that maybe Jack Black and all the people in the background might be "appearing with Haley at the Troubadour" too

Yes, it was meant as a joke. Haley and Dylan might have rehearsed for the show, then attended a social gathering later that evening that included Casey and Jack Black.
