That's an interesting comment by her mother. Wonder if it had anything to do with her own experiences in the music business.

1:55 PM - Ryan Seacrest just pimped this appearance and they had a snippet of Haley speaking. Thought they might play "Free" after that but they went to a commercial break.

She's said repeatedly she's been acting almost as long as she's been singing. I hope she does well tonight since she's playing herself.

Interesting thought -- it's possible that playing oneself might be the toughest role of all! If I recall correctly, her Mother has stated that when Haley is acting, she tends to "lose herself" in the role, and her Mother didn't always recognize "her own kid."

The song wasn't featured as much as I would have liked, but Interscope got their money's worth in terms of dropping her full name.

I was kind of hoping when everyone was reminiscing Raj they'd forget why they were there and the conversation would devolve into talking about Haley Reinhart.
