I note Scott didn't include the Marilyn Monroe reference. That was responsible for many of the detractors on YouTube. The FB post currently 432,523 views. hundreds of comments and 7,652 shares. One share comment that struck my fancy, "Her voice is annoyingly wonderful."

Patti told me that the Marilyn Monroe reference came well after the song was recorded, much to the surprise of Haley that Scott pegged it like that afterwards.

I think Haley has a Marilyn vibe to her, regardless. She's kind of got that retro blonde bombshell look going. But they sound nothing alike.

The comments are very positive on FB, which I think which may be a result of people who like the video sharing it with people they think will also like it. But the comments on YT are more postive now than in the first week after the release of the video. Leaving off the Marilyn Monroe stuff was a good idea since so many people spend time commenting about something that isn't relevent to Haley's performance.

I checked 100 consecutive shares and found that 70% of these persons were female. I also estimated age into three groupings: Under 30, 30-45, and over 45. I estimated up if it was ambiguous (which it rarely was).
