Earlier on after a few watchings, I was going to post a comment on how much bigger and more 'professional' looking the microphones appeared to get with each entrant I watched...

Holly, I got chills hearing your voice on this video recorded in your kitchen.

In Scott's Periscope this morning when he first announced Holly as the winner, he mentioned something about the abscence of the Mic. One of the things that made her video stand out to him was thinking about how PMJ started, they had nothing, just a bunch of friends getting together in a room, making music. The 'grass roots' of PMJ. That Holly's audition was simple and passionate, just her in her kitchen, to Scott, represented the heart of what PMJ was about

I've been impressed with Scott's social media savvy and entrepreneurial proclivities and the choice of Ms. Campbell-Smith fits. Having a winner from the UK who will be featured on a video makes good marketing sense.

Toward the end there appeared to be more people submitting who performed professionally, or at least frequently, on stage. They brought more polish and some were pretty good (although I was always struck by the fact that Haley is so much better).

Summary for September.

No videos this month featuring Haley so her view numbers dropped somewhat, but as the headline above notes, they remain strong. Last week she was featured on five of the top ten PMJ videos, although Creep dropped to #2. The top spot was taken by a new release featuring Ariana.

So, September overall views are down 30% compared to August. Yet considering that she did not have a new video this month, the numbers remain impressive. Every week her PMJ videos are watched, and listened to more than 900 thousand times.

For the month Creep is back to where it was in the first week of August, before 7NA was uploaded to YT. But Creep's view rate hasn't been tailing off recently; the video has averaged about 35K views a day since hitting 10 million on the 22nd. Her Creep has legs. Creep is currently #4 in the all time PMJ chart, but it has been receiving nearly 25K more views per day than the #1 song (WCS) in recent weeks.

Thanks, John, for this (once again) labor of numbers love. Its always a fun thing to study and follow (my daily morning routine: MLB scores, Haley PMJ view counts, coffee, getting the kid out of bed).

I reckon that the first few most-watched PMJ videos get traffic simply because people want to see what the most popular songs are, and so it is significant that Creep is getting more traffic than that, proving it still has dynamics all of its own.

XAtlantic, I have a similar routine in the morning. Take a shower, check the news, Check HF for any new Haley happenings, then go to work. haha

And I really feel that it is only a matter of time before Creep becomes the most watched video on PMJ's channel. It's just another validation of Haley's talent!
