Remember that Ole deal Haley signed onto last year? Well, it is finally going somewhere. Haley’s perfect vocals have been tapped to back an ad for Extra gum. The ad features Extra‘s role in a couple’s love story. Haley sings a new cover of Elvis Presley’s #1 hit song, “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” The youtube video of the ad has already pulled in 745,588 views since Wednesday. Meanwhile, Haley’s cover of the Elvis classic has today risen into the top 100 of US iTunes.

My 10 month old daughter gave me and my wife a rough night and I barely got any sleep. So today at work I thought I could go to my car during the lunch hour and take a nice little nap. Right before I headed up to my car I checked this site to quickly see what was going on with Haley and this "peculiar" extra Gum comercial thread. Next thing you know I'm repeatedly hitting the replay button throughout my entire lunch hour and still no sleep!!!

I can relate to the lack of sleep. I was already sleep deprived and thinking I needed to get caught up when this video hit. I ended up staying up late monitoring the buzz the first night and awaiting the song's release the next.

My staying up late isn't anything new, so I have a pillow in my car for when I need to catch a few zzzz's at lunch. Yesterday evening after work, I was walking upward towards my car in the parking garage while the president of the company was walking downwards towards his.

I got in my car and then he surprised me by knocking on my window. He made some joking comment. Then he noticed the pillow in my back seat.

Pres: You sleep in your car?
Me: No, I have a house.

Thanks Miguel. It's actually a good thing I'm a family man, cause if I was single I would undoubtedly be broke from following Haley around the world! I could end up homeless in Sidney after spending my last few dollars on her performance and not have a way to get back home!!!
Btw, I wanted to say that I have shown the extra gum video to two women so far and they both ended up with watery eyes! the first one_a co-worker, stated that the beautiful song was actually the best part!! Who knows how many Haliens could emerge from this little comercial?

Wow is right. For comparison, the AATB PMJ (European Tour Version) video that Kai Kamai posted on Facebook that went viral that we got excited about took 10 days to reach 10 million views and it now sits at just over 32 million views. CHFIL took about 40 hrs. to reach its 50 million.

"Creep" and "SNA" were both on the Facebook top trends for awhile. So, now that I think about it, the items listed in the top trends must be from outside Facebook that people on Facebook are buzzing about.
