What's interesting about this is Daniel works for BBDO. I had thought the recording and promotion of it were Ole's responsibility. I imagined Haley and Casey recording the song in LA, but it now seems likely they did it in Chicago with BBDO personnel present.

I think the video and musical aspects of commercial are pretty tightly choreographed and BBDO was controlling that. It wasn't just a matter of having Haley sing the song, the timing needed to be right. As I mentioned earlier there are natural breaks at 28 and 56 seconds into the song as well as about 1:56 where the video ends. I guess that 60 second and 30 second editions can be easily put together with the existing audio simply cut short. BTW the piano intro is about 4 seconds longer on the itunes song (Casey goes around again) versus the video and there are some other small timing changes.

If you're familiar with American Idol, you'll probably remember season 10's snubbed winner Haley Reinhart who had a variety of great performances on the show and eventually released her own album 'Listen Up!' under Interscope Records.

Anyway, I was on iTunes and noticed she's at #65 with a cover of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love" and I was like what?? I guess it was included in a gum commercial and the public is responding. She's a trending search on iTunes and getting green updates on Kworb.

Pretty cool to see this girl so high on iTunes nearly 5 years after her Idol stint.

Here are the 2nd day hourly numbers and chart for "Love What Matters" Facebook page's viral video of The Story of Sarah & Juan.

The view rate continues to be lower than it was earlier, but your final column - views per minute - puts things in perspective. Even as it slow it was getting in the hundreds of views, every second. I just looked at Shares and even now it is getting a share every 2 seconds. It has more than a million shares. It has more than 82 thousand comments. I'm looking forward to seeing how it does tomorrow. (Would 10-15 million views be a letdown? LOL.)
