Appropriate that Bruno Tonioli is seen here giving the 9-9-90 singer Haley Reinhart in the DWTS audience a "9" Wink

If you recall she sat right behind the judges in the front row at DWTS a year & a half ago the same night that Harry, Patti, Babbs, Penny & I saw Casey Abrams perform at the Skokie Theatre and Blake Lewis was in the audience. As I drove Patti on our way to pick up Harry at work to go down to Casey's show, Haley called her mom saying that she was entering the DWTS Studio and she'd be sitting in the front row. I had a quick little chat with Haley on Patti's cell then. Basically just a "Hi How are ya, have fun tonight"

So do they introduce her as "Singer/Songwriter Haley Reinhart" or "American Idol Finalist Haley Reinhart"? Somehow I don't think DWTS will want to mention a competing show, but you never know. Also, I'm hoping they somehow mention PMJ. Would be nice to give some publicity to Scott.

Received another text from Haley's mom…not good news…Mom says Haley "may not be on & someone else may be singing…a miscommunication" Trick or treat? Real? Mom says she's bummed. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.

I got a tweet from Drom Momma and she said that it's not going to happen after all. She said Haley will not be singing live on Dancing WTS on Monday. I'm so disappointed, more for her than for us. Although I was really excited about it.

Its probably anybody's guess.The song-on this show is obviously meant to be danced to.The producers may want to add other instruments or have another arrangement to make it more"danceable"?

On the other hand Haley's version is so intimate and distinguished that maybe Haley's recording would work for the dance that they have planned.But I'm not sure if all of the millions of views online would even factor into their decision whether or not to play the recording.

I have to say that I haven't watched that show enough to really know what to expect.

I refuse to be disappointed by this - whether it happens or not or in what form. In a year that so much has been going right for Haley, I can't be greedy.

I'm just gonna Back It Up and look forward to whatever comes next.
